iPhone 4G – Should I get One?

I am currently pondering on what new cell phone I am going to get and I am stuck on the iPhone 4G. I am a Blackberry user and I currently have the Curve 8250 and of course I want to upgrade. And I’m not sure if I should stick with an upgraded Blackberry or I should venture out and get a iPhone 4G.

This video is very persuasive!

But I am looking for the opinion that those of you that own an iPhone have. I do a lot of texting, social networking, and handle business while on the go. Do you think the iPhone is good for that?

Fun with the Fireworks

Normally for the 4th of July we would go out to the River Front to watch all of the fireworks. But the thing is it just gets too overcrowded for comfort out there so this is what went on in my neighborhood last night…

Boy, I know the streets were a mess last night from all of those fireworks. But hey…it only happens once a year!

What the…!? Now I have seen everything!

Now I am sure that losing hair can probably be a devastating or embarrassing experience for some and then others just kind of go with the flow. BUT…a hat with hair attached to it is just going to far. If I saw somebody with one of these things on I would run up behind them, snatch it off of their head, and then die from the laughter. It kind of reminds me of how you see Chuck Norris on those late night fitness commercials exercising and sweating and only the hair on the sides of his head is wet from the sweat. Yes, Chuck we know that the hair on top is not real. But I guess that’s better than Hulk Hogan’s string of hair. That’s what I call denial. Hulk Hogan…Please just let it go!

And for you divas out there that claim your little dogs are divas too, don’t let me see your dog walking down the street looking like this. I will report you to the animal police. If dogs could talk, I wonder what they would say about these wigs! My mom said she would get one for her Yorkie. Lol I sure hope that was a joke.

Now all jokes aside, these are Internet businesses that are making money. I don’t know “WHO” is spending money on these things, but people are. And this goes to show you that you can put any business idea into motion if you put the necessary time and effort into it.

Since When Did the Internet Have a Curfew?

Now this post is inspired by something funny that my grandmother said a few days ago. I was having one of my late mornings where I was just waking up at noon. I was totally beat down from the previous night’s work dealing with product creation. Lot’s of work!

So my phone rings. It’s my grandmother. She could tell by my tone of voice that I was just waking up and proceeded to ask me why I was just getting out of bed. After explaining that I was up on the Internet working half the night she was dumbfounded.

Not because I had been up working half the night, but because she actually thought that the Internet closed down at 9pm every night. Lmao! I thought it was a joke but she was dead serious and she got mad when I laughed at her.

Here’s the point…

The only time that the Internet shuts down is if you don’t pay your bill on time and that only affects you and not the rest of the world. People are up round the clock surfing, looking for information, and spending money even when you are bed drooling and snoring. And most of you that are new to traffic generation and making money online have not quite grasped the concept of automation.

You have to learn how to automate your processes to the point where they continue to pump out traffic and money even when you are nowhere near a computer. This is something that makes a lot of the Internet entrepreneurs rich beyond belief. And this is the key to most of the “make money while you sleep” type products.

Now I know that this is absolutely random and has nothing to do with business, but I feel the need to share this with you guys. Last night I was flipping through my tv guide and couldn’t find anything good to watch so I checked out my on demand options and decided to order Michael Jackson’s This Is It Movie for $2.99

“You guys should have held me down and slapped me one by one!”

I could have spent that $2.99 on a hamburger and would have been happier! Now don’t get me wrong I was definitely a Michael Jackson fan before he passed, love his music, and was sad to see him go….BUT this movie was a waste of time. To be honest I cannot believe that this movie made it to the movies and I definitely can’t see how it made so much money.

After watching this movie, I was left feeling like I had just wasted 2 hours of my life that I can never get back…that’s bad! No offense to those of you that liked it, but I wouldn’t suggest anyone sit down and watch this movie. This is just my opinion.

Oh No, Not Snow!

I woke up to snow showers this morning, and boy I was not ready for this. Not only is it cold, but it’s that wet snow that turns to slush. If it was powdered snow then I could deal with that a little better. I just don’t know why it has to snow right now, ughhh! Here is a picture of the snow in the back yard, and my dog wondering where the heck it came from lol.

So since it is cold and drear, and the snow has yet to stop canvasing the ground, I’m just going to watch a good movie while I get some work done. Hey, I might even put together another ebook. For those of you experiencing your own winter wonderlands, be safe and stay warm.

Back in Action!!

Due to the loss of a close family member last weekend, my entire week up to now has been full of chaos! But as of today I am back in action and have quite a few goodies for you guys this week! One of the Saddest Moments of My Life…Please Pray!!

On November 8th, I experienced one of the most terrifying and painful experience that I had ever gone through. I was awaken at 3am by my mother screaming that my cousin had been shot and I needed to get to the hospital. Not knowing what to expect I was praying for the best. Once there, I couldn’t believe the scene. Armed officers, family and friends in tears, and at that very moment my heart stopped. I could no longer hear the commotion of the busy emergency room sort of like when you ears are of full of water when swimming. My body when numb as I saw the looks and the tears of my family members. Could this really be happening!?

For hours we waited looking for any glimpse of hope that this piece to our family puzzle would pull through. But he didn’t. And from that point on things became more real than I ever imagined.

How did this happen?

He was killed by a police officer in a night club. And truth be told, I want to see justice done! And as a family we have come together and we are going to make this a reality.

So I wanted to share with you what was going on in my life and why I have not been posting as much lately. I will eventually get back on track, but right now my family has my full attention. But that does not mean that I will completely stop posting, it just means that it will not be as often.

I hope you guys can understand where I am coming from, and as always I will keep it real with you guys.

What Did You Think of the BET Hip Hop Awards?

I hate to say it, but I was disappointed at last year’s awards and I was definitely disappointed with this year’s awards. I don’t know why it seems as though it get’s worse every year. After watching it I was actually mad that I spent my time on it. I mean, don’t get me wrong I love seeing artist win awards for their hard work, but the definition of “hip hop” has definitely changed.

What I can say that I did like about it is that Ice Cube was finally being honored for his years of hard work. He is an artist that has withstood the test of time going from the music scene to on screen. I truly believed that he deserved to be honored. Other than that, I felt that me watching it was a waste of time. Is it just me?

Oh, and did you see Tiny’s new hair color? I never thought that she would go red, so I think it will take me a minute to get use to it. But I personally think she looked better with the blonde. Ok now, I’m not going to start talking about people because I would be picking at people forever lol. But I don’t think I will be looking forward to watching the awards next year =(

I’d Like to Give the Balloon Boys Parents a Piece of My Mind!!

First off, let me start by saying “who has enough time on their hands to sit at home and make a home made flying saucer?” I mean shouldn’t you be somewhere working to support your family? And not only that who actually comes up with that type of idea. I just find it very strange. I’m mean, can anyone tell me what the point of this “experimental aircraft” was?

Now as for the 6 year old boy that they thought was missing, he is at home safe. But my problem with this is the possibilities of what could have happened to this little boy. This little boy could have seriously been injured. And as a parent you are suppose to protect your children from ANYTHING that can potentially be dangerous to them, and this boy’s parents failed to do this.

Now I understand that the father had scolded the little boy earlier that day about messing with the home made flying saucer that was tethered in the back yard, but with 4 kids he would have had to known that they would be curious. And we all know what happens when kids get curious. The stupid thing shouldn’t have been their in the first place!

Have you ever gone to a website that may have had a quality product but you took one look at the horrendous graphics and simply clicked out of your screen? Now I know good and well that I am not the only one that has done that. Now I understand that you guys may not be graphic designers and all but the designs on your websites do affect first impressions.

If you like to play around with your own graphics but can afford software like Photoshop, I have a free alternative for you here. You can edit photos, create your own logos and graphics, you could even design webpage layouts with this software and it is absolutely free!

Now if you just have no design talent whatsoever, then I have something for you as well. If you would like some free professional graphics that you can simply copy and past into your web pages then check this out. Using these professional graphics will not only save you from pulling your hair out, but it will also save you a lot of time.

Always remember when when you are putting websites together (especially if you are marketing products) that graphics mean a lot and just throwing up any old pictures you found on the Internet is not going to cut it.

Basically, there was a brawl at a nightclub called Body Tap in Atlanta that led to AJ Jewell sustaining severe injuries to the head. That was later the cause of his death while in the hospital.

This is an awful tragedy that was a shocker for me. My prayers definitely goes out to the families. Things definitely are not what they use to be where you can actually go out on the weekends and have a good time. It has gotten so unsafe that most of the time it is a hesitation to go out and enjoy friends because you don’t know what kind of fight is going to break out and who is going to get hurt.

Victimized by Information Overload?

Am I a victim of information overload? I have been quite a few times, and I’m sure you have probably experienced it before as well. See, I refer to myself as an information junkie that can never learn enough and I think that has everything to do with what I was taught as a child – “there is no such thing as learning too much!”

That’s a bunch of crap! There is a such thing as learning too much and I have the migraine to prove it lol. It is often my problem, that my mind never stops racing when it comes to creative ideas for articles, blog posts, info products, etc. I mean I never have a chance to complete one thought before another pops in my head.

Have you ever noticed when you are doing your research online for whatever topic, that each website you check out leads to another, and another, and another and during the process you get so far off track because new ideas keep popping up that you can never complete your initial idea? Been there, done that, and it sucks!
