Rule #1 – Don’t believe everything you hear or see without trying it for yourself.
I learned the hard way why this rule was important. The Internet will bleed you dry if you don’t learn how to avoid the hype and traps that the Internet contains. Now don’t get me wrong, I love making my money on the Internet, but it is full of pitfalls that newbies will fall victim to.
Rule #2 – Do your own research.
If you ever find a money making technique online that you would like to try for yourself, do your homework first. Don’t just take the word of some stranger and spend tons of money in the process. If you do you will find yourself disappointed and broke. So when you come across these techniques that sound good to you, check them out and see what other people have to say about them.
Rule #3 – Make your own judgments.
Don’t let someone else do the thinking for you, think for yourself. Now you will notice that everybody is going to tell you why a money making technique is the best, the fastest, the easiest, etc. and they very well may be, but it is up to you to make that judgment. Always remember that something that works for one person may not work for another, so make your own judgments for what will work for you.
Rule #4 – Don’t be afraid to try new things.
You should never fear trying something new in the world of making money online. You don’t always have to follow the formula of some guru on the Internet. Explore new ideas, materialize your own ideas, and just have fun with it. The most money is made when you are having fun doing it because you don’t have to force yourself to do what it takes to make the money.
Rule #5 – Once you find what works, stick to it!
Sometimes it can take a minute for you to find what works for you, but once you do find it stick to it. It is important that you stick to the system that you put in place because disrupting that system can sometimes cause you to lose more than you gain.
Rule #6 – Pace yourself and create a schedule.
It is so easy for you to burn yourself out trying to make money online if you don’t have a schedule. You can spend countless hours trying to learn techniques and spend even more time trying to put your own system together. The best thing for you to do is dedicate a few hours a day working online so that you don’t burn yourself out. That doesn’t mean spend 8 long hours in front of your computer; you can make good money just spending 2-3 hours a day on your computer.
Rule #7 – Be patient with the money, it will come.
Don’t expect to get rich overnight, or you will be sadly disappointed. Now there are some techniques that will bring money faster than others, but real money online is not part of a get rich quick scheme. So if that is what you are looking for, then good luck on finding that. Making money online is going to take some time, dedication, and patience so if you are not up for that then making money online may not be for you.
Rule #8 – Learn from experts that know what they are talking about.
If you are going to listen to anybody on the Internet, make sure that it is an expert that knows what they are talking about. There is nothing worse than getting advice from someone that has no clue what they are talking about. That’s like the blind leading the blind. So you may want to do your research on the persons that you are learning from because it would be a terrible experience if they were teaching you something that was wrong or didn’t work.
These are some technique that will save you a lot of time and frustration when making money online, so learn how to implement these things into your regular routine.
