I am sure that you have seen a stock photo website before, but for those of you that are unfamiliar it is a website where you can purchase an image along with a license that gives you the right to use that image.
Well if you have a little experience with a digital camera, which I’m sure you do then you could begin selling your stock images today! Now top of the line photography equipment would be great to use if you have it, if not then you can simply use a digital camera.
You can take images of local buildings, plants, animals, or whatever you would like. Just make sure that you are not capturing any brand names in your photos because I would hate for you to get slapped with a lawsuit.
Usually on websites that sell stock photo they will give you some idea of how many downloads various images are getting and that will give you a clue as to what images are most popular.
Now in getting paid you will normally earn a commission based on how many downloads your images get. But keep in mind that different websites will have different policies so double check before you do anything.
