Monetizing Your Small Reports for Maximum Profit

If you have never considered the idea of creating small reports for profit, then you should take a look at how you can accomplish this in 6 easy steps and make money. It is one of the fastest ways that I have EVER made money on the Internet. Now let’s talk about the next step which is monetizing your reports.

First you need to identify the purpose for your report. There are usually two main reasons that people create small reports. Either they are looking to build their opt-in list from their blog or website, or they are looking to make a direct profit. When I create free reports that are meant for list building I don’t monetize it at all. I fill it full of high quality content and that’s it! Many people would say this is a “no no” but there is a method to my madness. When you are giving away a free report in exchange for a person’s subscription then the money is in the list itself, and so I don’t feel the need to go through and monetize the free report. But if you are selling the report then you want to monetize it and make as much money as you possibly can with it.

Let’s get ready to MONETIZE!

Affiliate Products. When choosing affiliate products to promote in your reports you have to be creative. As you know, a small report’s purpose is to provide a simple solution to a complex problem so when choosing an affiliate product make sure that it is an alternative solution to that problem as well.

You can hyperlink certain keywords to affiliate products, but honestly I have had better success by simply promoting my affiliate product at the bottom of every other or every 3rd page. Instead of disguising it promote it as a solution to your audience’s problem. If you can show them how the product is going to help them, then you increase the chances of selling your affiliate product. If you don’t want to do that, you can also create a “Recommended Products” page at the of your report where you can promote your affiliate product.

Promote Your Own Products & Reports. Create a series of reports that you want to sell for profit and in each one list the other reports that you have available and link to them. The good thing about recommending your products is if your reports are a hit then people will spend money on other products that you sell. And this is also why it is important why the quality of your free reports should be just as good as your paid report quality.

Make sure that you link all of your products or reports to each other because your loyal customers will more than likely buy from you over and over again. So make things easy for them by providing some of your available products and their links at the end of your reports.

Offer Discounts for Your Products. People love to take advantage of discounts when they can and if you offer limited time discounts to other products that you offer you have the opportunity to increase the profits you are making with other products. I would suggest that you use TwtQpon because it allows you to make the coupon, create a link for it, and you can set a time frame that it is valid. I wrote a post about this before and even if you have never used it before it is really easy to get the hang of.

Cash Links. More than likely when you create your small reports you include a lot of resource links for your audience. Well you can make money off of all of your links by using a simple link shortener that your readers can click on. And this method can actually be used by sharing links on social networks, websites, classified sites, etc.

These are some really easy ways that you can monetize your small reports and I have made thousands just using these methods, but the real key is being creative when using these methods. You have to find the right placement in your reports, the right words to use, and the right way to persuade your audience.
