Start Selling Your Digital Products Through Twitter

I know that there are a lot of you out there that are trying to figure out how you can make money with Twitter, but you are having trouble coming up with ideas. Well the truth is, you are thinking too hard. You can do a lot of the same things that you can do across the Internet, right from Twitter just the way you go about doing it is a little different.

Now before I go into how you can start making money immediately with Twitter, I have to give you a fair warning. Twitter is not a marketplace, it is a social network. The point of Twitter is to build relationship, drive traffic, and grow you reach in order to enhance your business presence and make some conversions. So direct sales might not work if you have not put forth the effort in building your target market on Twitter.

Now let’s get down to business...

The first thing that you need to do is follow @twitpay on Twitter. This is the only way to receive your PIN so you cannot skip this step. Shortly after you follow @twitpay you will receive a DM that looks something like this:

STEP 1 -

That PIN number will be used in verifying your Twitter Account so that you can complete the setup process. Another thing that you need to be aware of is  TwitPay is powered by PayPal so you will need to have a paypal account before you proceed. If you don’t already have one, you can Sign Up for a FREE PayPal Account.

STEP 2 –

Now you need to head over to TwitPay and verify your Twitter account. Then proceed to  set up your Retweet to Buy. This is also free so you don’t have to worry about pulling any money out. Just make sure that you have linked the correct PayPal account to your TwitPay account.

Now you are ready to go. You can sell products in the form of MP3, WAV, PDF, and OGG. What you do is you upload your content, set your product information, and then promote your content. It’s just that simple! Now the one thing that you have to understand is TwitPay has to get their cut too. Yeah it sucks but that’s just the way it is. TwitPay’s cut is 15% of your product’s sales price.

This is one of the easiest ways to actually sell through Twitter. But if you don’t like this method you could always just set up a sales page for your products and share your link.
