With Adsense you make money in 2 ways:
(1) by the number of views your page receives
(2) by the clicks that your ads receive

The key to Adsense is making your ads blend in with your site. If your viewers think that your Adsense Ads are just apart of your website rather than another advertisement, then you will get more clicks. Another think is you can display up to 3 blocks of Adsense ads per page. So for best results utilize that, but don't clump them all together. Place your ads in areas of your website that your viewers will spend most of their time looking at.

Just keep in mind that you need to build up a good amount of traffic to make a decent amount of money with Adsense. If you need anything else, just let me know =)

Hi and congrats on having an informative website. How exactly does Adsense work (in everyday terms)?

I know if someone click on your ad you get paid right?

Does it depends on how many people visit your site rather than how many people click on the ads?

Also, what are impressions?

I have Adsense on my page but I really don't understand it and Google's help page speaks a different language :D
