Good Question! If you are trying to generate a little money while podcasting then selling air time for advertisements is a great way to do that. But most people have the burning question of “how often should I change the ads that I air?” Well that will depend on how often you produce your podcasts. Podcasting can be an daily process, a once a week process, or even a monthly process for you, and that is what is going to determine how long you run ads. Personally
For best results, your podcasting sessions should have a regular, planned out schedule. By doing this, you will be able to make more money with advertising and the people who purchase your advertising slots will get more exposure.
Make sure you come to an agreement of how much exposure an ad will receive so that your listeners (customers) will know what to expect.
If you are really serious about your podcasting then this is something that you should always work to stay on top of because I have a friend that makes about $850 a month off of advertisements he includes in his podcasting sessions. So good money can be made here you just have to work at it.
